CHANDLER, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Maricopa Community Colleges and Intel are partnering to address the critical need for skilled talent in semiconductor manufacturing. The new Semiconductor Technician Quick Start program, announced today, will provide students with the foundational skills needed for an entry-level technician role at Intel's Ocotillo campus in Chandler, Arizona, in just 10 days. The program is designed to create a more inclusive and diverse pipeline of qualified technicians for Intel and the broader semiconductor industry. The program will launch in the spring of 2022 and will be offered at several Maricopa Community Colleges locations. Upon completion of the program, students will earn an industry-recognized certification and be prepared for an entry-level technician role at Intel.
